કરગરી રહ્યા-કિરણ ચૌહાણ

 

 પૂછી  જૂઓ  આ   જાતને  ક્યાં જઈ  રહ્યા ?             Just ask the self “where are we headed ?
કોના  ઈશારે  આપણે  આગળ  વધી રહ્યા ?            on whose instance are we moving head ?

જનમોજનમના  કોલ  તને  દઈને શું  કરું ?              Of     what     are    enternal     vows
જ્યાં એક  ભવના વાયદા  ખોટા પડી રહ્યા.            when the promises made in this life lie unfulfilled.

તું  લાગણીનો  ખેલ  ફરીથી  શરું  ન  કર ,                 Do  not intiate this play of imotions  again
રોઈ  શકાય  એટલા  આસું   નથી  રહ્યા !                  for no more tears have I left to shed.

 હોવા  છતાં  જબાન   કશું   બોલતા નથી ,                They speak not though with speech  favoured
ખુદના  જ   શબ્દ     કાયમ  નડી    રહ્યા.                    who by their  own words have often been deterred.

ભૂલી  ગયા કે  બ્રહ્મ તણા   અંશે  છો તમે ?                That you are a part of “brahman” have you forgotten?
ચપટીક    સુખને   માટે  તમે કરગરી રહ્યા .               such that you implore for a pinch of pleasure.
